History

Enarco was founded in 1964, and from its very beginning, the company has designed, prepared and commercialized all its products under the ENAR brand. The name Enarco comes from "Energía del Aire Comprimido" (Energy from Compressed Air) and its logo represents the blades of a pneumatic motor.

From its very outset, it has manufactured pneumatic tools of renowned quality and has developed this product line with its own technology, focusing on the domestic market and on the United Kingdom.  In this way, it became a leading supplier of the national metallurgical industry, with such companies as Mercedes, Seat, Ford, Renault, Fagor, Teka, Otsein and Astilleros Españoles included among its customers.

The growth achieved by the company was very significant until, in 1978, owing to the economic instability of the country, an organizational restructuring was carried out to confront a new stage in its development.

It was then that pneumatic, pendulum and motor-in-head concrete vibrators became a part of the ENAR range, as well as vibrating screeds for paving surfaces. Its new activity was focused on the market of vibration applied to construction technology and more specifically, to vibration of concrete.

At the same time as the product range was being widened and the company was achieving growth within the new market, the production of pneumatic tools gradually decreased, and by 1992 was merely residual.

In 1994 a range of light compaction units was developed by Enarco, becoming the first Spanish company with its own production of tamping rammers and reversible compacting plates.

Currently, Enarco has 10,000 m2 of productive area in its Zaragoza installations, inaugurated in 2009, where more than 50,000 article references of its three product lines - concrete vibrators, vibrating screeds and light compaction - are designed, produced and commercialized.

Through its development in the market, Enarco has positioned itself as a specialist in concrete vibration equipment, creating commercial networks in the 5 continents and establishing subsidiary companies in France, Mexico, Poland and China.
